Job Profile Summary:
PURPOSE: This scope of work is for Database Manager services specific to the InterSystems IRIS data management software to support the centralization and cloud-modernization of the Department’s Health Management System.
- A minimum of 10 years of documented experience as a Database Manager managing and optimizing InterSystems IRIS and Cache databases, including experience with its advanced features for scalability, performance, and reliability.
- A minimum of 5 years of documented experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience must demonstrate knowledge of cloud database services, cloud storage solutions, and cloud migration strategies.
- Documented extensive experience in multiple database migrations, preferably some experience moving databases to the cloud.
- Documented experience in consolidating and centralizing databases, ideally in a large-scale environment.
- This includes planning, executing, and overseeing the centralization process.
- Expertise in designing and implementing backup strategies and disaster recovery plans in a cloud environment.
- Documented experience tuning database for performance by optimizing queries, indexing strategies, and server configurations.
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages for database tasks.
- Documented experience with tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, and experience in implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Practices.
- Preference given to candidates with InterSystems IRIS Certification(s); particularly the InterSystems IRIS System Administration Specialist.

Position Overview: Lead and manage the manual testing team while establishing testing processes, methodologies, and best practices. Responsible for overall quality assurance strategy and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of manual test engineers
- Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and testing processes
- Oversee test case creation, execution, and maintenance
- Manage test cycles and regression testing efforts
- Track and report testing metrics, defects, and quality indicators
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align testing efforts with project goals
- Identify opportunities for test automation and process improvements
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews
- Manage resource allocation and capacity planning
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of software testing experience
- 3+ years of experience leading testing teams
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices

• Contributing to UX design decisions using your domain expertise
• Helping the Philo set-top box team grow
• Helping expand Philo’s 10-Foot experience to other platforms.
• Experience with Samsung Tizen, Vizio, LG, or other Smart TV development
• Experience with React Native, Flutter, or using web technologies on any non-browser
platform.
• Building the Philo experience on Smart TV devices
• Experience with Redux, TypeScript, Graph QL/Apollo.
• Experience with focus management frameworks.
• Experience with Bright Script, Scene Graph, or other Roku APIs and ecosystem.
• Development experience with video playback, cross-device interoperability (e.g., casting), or
other 10-foot, connected TV platforms in general (e.g., Roku, Fire TV, Android TV or Apple TV).
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of hands-on experience is required.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript.
• Experience of Node.js and frameworks such as Express.
• Experience of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3. Knowledge of Lightning
Framework, Lightning Web Components, Lightning events and Lightning Design System is a
plus.
